During extreme weather the school may be forced to close. This is not a decision that is taken lightly and is based on ensuring the health and safety of pupils and staff.

The decision to close the school will be made as early as possible and will be communicated using the following methods:

1) A message on the homepage of this website as well as through the Weduc (Reach More Parents) app.

2) A message will be sent out on the school’s main X account @MaesGarmon and Instagram.

3) A message will be uploaded to Flintshire County Council website under the Emergency School Closure section.
