Facilities
The school was built in 1964 and a number of successful alterations have been carried out since then. During the last decade, a new Design and Technology block has been built, and the Science laboratories and the school canteen have been renovated. The building is comparatively small and pupils find their way around with ease. The school has use of Mold Leisure Centre during school hours which means that a wide range of sports and clubs are available to pupils.

The school canteen is open every day, providing delicious and healthy food during break time and lunch time.

Design and Technology block which includes provision for:
Computer Aided Design, Workshops, Food and Textiles areas.

Full provision for Information and Communication Technology in 3 ICT rooms.

A purpose built room for committee meetings with interactive resources.

Specialist music and peripatetic teaching rooms.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Full provision for Sport and Recreation – The Sport Centre, and Gymnasium offer facilities for squash, badminton, indoor tennis, table tennis, basketball, and swimming pool.
Playing fields with hockey, football, rugby, cricket pitches, athletics track, tennis courts and a floodlit Astroturf pitch.
SCIENCE
Science Block with 6 Laboratories.
VIDEO CONFERENCING
Video conferencing suite for distance learning and international links.
